About Me

I'm an old-fashioned girl at heart, who over several years was ultimately convicted to simplify my life and focus on the things that matter most. And so, thanks to my heaven-sent husband of 12 years now, "love" , I left my career behind in 2009 to take on the most important full-time job I could ever have... to be a SAHM to our daughter who was born to “shimmer” almost 10 years ago and our son, who was born to “shine” 7 years ago. I am truly blessed.

Since having our children, I have grown to love photography. I'm an avid flower gardener and I love to fuss over birthday parties for my children. I aspire to scrap, knit, sew, and to read more. While it’s hard to find the time for these right now, I don’t think I will ever be too old to learn a timeless craft or enjoy the simple pleasures of life…

I have a love for vintage, timeless designs… whether they are found in architecture, home interiors, fabrics, stationery, children’s books or toys. My soul longs for a simpler time and pure values.
